Before you begin
Use a current backup and confirm that you can access the WordPress dashboard. An audit is read-only, but a good site-care routine always starts with a recoverable website.
Install and activate the plugin
- Download the WP IQ Audit ZIP from your WP IQ account.
- In WordPress, open Plugins, choose Add New Plugin, and upload the ZIP.
- Activate WP IQ Audit and open its dashboard menu.
Connect your license
Enter the license key from your account to receive product updates and license-based support. Development domains can be managed from your account when licensing is connected.
Review the audit workspace
The dashboard separates the overall site summary, issue priorities, check groups, and report actions. Start with the summary before opening individual findings.
